Courage

September 22, 2009

More than sixty years after the Nazi Occupation and all the horrors of WWII people around the world remember the horrors the Axis powers put in front of us, and th courage of the many Allied soldiers who lost their lives fighting against these horrors. Millions died before the war ended and yet people still fought for what was right. Some people never saw action but fought in their own way. Peter and the underground fought for God, and were warriors of God. They showed this by showing kindness to all, standing up for what was right, and trying to do good in a time of great evil and horror. Peter himself ignored the curfew and worked passed it even afer the threat of going to work at the mills. He showed his country pride and gave hope to other who had lost it by playing the Willhemith. Even though he went to jail Peter had his effect on the people around him. He gave the hope and courage needed to do things in this time to others. These things and many other small actions contribute to the war effort in small ways. These little things can give courage in the darkest times and get others to be courageous. These small things can save lives.
